Neuro Interface Lab

Research, neurotechnology, interfaces, and open science.

About

The Neuro Interface Lab is an open scientific initiative dedicated to neural interfaces, neurotechnology, bioelectronic instrumentation, and computational approaches for interacting with living systems. Rather than a formal laboratory, it is a research-centered GitHub organization structured around the scientific activities of its PI at Bordeaux INP and IMS Laboratory, with a strong commitment to open science, reproducibility, and collaborative development.

The work gathered here is primarily conducted within the Bioelectronics group of IMS Laboratory (University of Bordeaux, Bordeaux INP, CNRS UMR 5218), while also relying on a broader scientific network of former and current PhD students, collaborators, and partner institutions in France and abroad. This collective dimension is essential: beyond technical developments, the lab is built on shared scientific questions, interdisciplinary methods, and long-term collaborations.

This website provides a central access point to our research themes, open-source software, open hardware, publications, and team members. Its purpose is not only to present ongoing work, but also to disseminate reusable research tools, support transparent scientific practice, and create opportunities for future collaborations.
